In honour of the founder

Adalbert Raps left us great opportunities with his legacy, which are both a joy and an incentive to take further action. We feel it is our special task to preserve the memory of our founder Adalbert Raps' farsightedness not only in the name of our foundation, but also in its orientation, with the funding area "In honour of the founder".

Specially initiated programmes and initiatives

The following is an overview of the initiatives that the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung has launched in honour of its founder:

Adalbert Raps Prize

With the Adalbert Raps Prize for Abitur students, we support special dedication and readiness to excel.

Spice Sommelier

Our concern is to preserve the knowledge of spices, to support its further development and to make it useful for people.

Facilities of the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung

In addition to funding individual projects, the funding area "in honour of the founder" also includes funding for facilities at the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung:

Spice Library

With more than 12,000 books and journals, the Adalbert Raps Library offers a wide selection of well-founded literature on spices, food, nutrition and culinary enjoyment.

Spice Museum

From seed to harvest to sales counter: around 1,200 square metres of space immerse visitors to the Spice Museum in the world of spices. A project that we support with great passion.

Adalbert Raps School

As a vocational secondary school, the Adalbert Raps School is divided into a technical secondary school (FOS) and a vocational secondary school (BOS) and is aimed at students with intermediate qualifications.
