Vision and values of the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung
We use our project funding to help society in Kulmbach and Upper Franconia better prepare for the future and also to promote food science nationally and internationally. For our team, conscientious handling of our capital also means paying special attention to the potential for change and innovation that can be expected from the respective initiatives. Above all, we plan and act responsibly with regard to project funding and the related use of our funds...because our goal is to be transparent and comprehensible - for the public as well as for those who approach us with funding requests!
We use the financial resources available to the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung responsibly. This also means that project funding is always in line with our statutory foundation purpose and that funding is allocated accordingly.
In our support of social projects in Upper Franconia and national and international research projects in the field of food science, we therefore ensure that existing situations are sustainably improved and that knowledge is gained that will help open up perspectives for the future.
The use of grants must be balanced for the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung with the expected benefit of the project funding.
Of course, we are there when support is needed in emergency situations or for urgent purposes. For the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung, efficiency means on the one hand that – in addition to awarding funding – we motivate and support the development of sustainable and cooperative financing concepts and, on the other, that insights gained contribute directly to the solution of important future issues. Internally, efficient action means for us: We are in personal contact with our partners.
We are interested in the further development of the projects even after the funding has been awarded by the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung. And we deliberately keep our administrative cost ratio at a consistently low level.
Our support has been successful in the long term if project funding from the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung leaves its mark in such a way that not only are emergency situations and needs eliminated in the short term, but a measurable improvement to the initial situation also becomes visible and noticeable over the long term, an improvement from which society benefits.
Effectiveness, in the work of this foundation, is more than an ideal for us: it is a yardstick by which we measure all our activities, and thus also the allocation of funding.
Use our application forms
In order to get a more accurate impression of the projects to be funded, we have prepared various application forms. We ask you to fill them out conscientiously and return them to the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung.
This facilitates our internal processes and makes it significantly easier for us to process your application quickly.
