Since 1978 the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung, based in Kulmbach, Germany, has been a contact partner for social and scientific matters, supporting to committed people in Upper Franconia as well as nationally and internationally. The guiding principle of our work remains consistent: improving social support in Kulmbach and the region of Upper Franconia into the future while at the same time promoting food research at the international level, as per the mission of our founder Adalbert Raps.

In addition to its involvement in individual projects and cooperations, the foundation sets the tone as a funding partner in Upper Franconia and the world by launching programmes and initiatives that provide the appropriate scientific and social framework for pressing issues of the future.
