There is a great willingness to donate in view of the war in Ukraine. There are numerous appeals and private initiatives. In order to optimally distribute the offers of help such as housing, donations in kind or even monetary donations, a central organisation of help is needed and existing structures should be used. These have the necessary experience, human resources and infrastructure to meet the challenges. We therefore recommend contacting the organisations and public agencies listed below in your district. Donations in kind and especially monetary donations should preferably be handed over to experienced organisations and according to need.
Recommendations of the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung on Ukraine aid
The Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung provides you with an overview and recommendation of support options in general and contact points close to your home. We do not guarantee completeness or accuracy, as responsibilities and services are constantly changing. We therefore ask you to inform yourself and to contact your local authorities. Usually, coordination officers for civic engagement, volunteer managers or integration guides at the district offices are the first points of contact for arranging support.

Applications from this area of commitment will be brought forward in the processing procedure and we will endeavour to make a funding decision as soon as possible. In addition, our usual processing and selection criteria apply.
