Trüffeljagd has always stood for the joint search for new, creative and promising concepts to secure the future of the butcher's trade. Unfortunately, this was not so easy due to the pandemic - so we at least offered you an online format that thrives on this idea. The Trüffeljagd digital talk brought together experts on a specific topic and our truffle hunters were also able to get involved.

KlausReichert is a book author, presenter, artist and, as the son of a butcher, an advocate for a new approach to slaughtering.
He puts forward theses that raise exciting questions for the butcher's trade: Do butchers have to butcher themselves? Should they at least have learned it? - And he goes further, because butchers should put the death of the animals in the customers' perspective.
So how could butchers convey this part of their vocation?
This and other questions were explored in a dialog with Frank Kühne, co-initiator of Trüffeljagd.
