Strategic, listening, with a clear compass: Yola shapes the operational business of the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung with foresight, a keen sense for people and a good dose of humor. She continues to develop the strategic direction, strengthens structures and processes and maintains an overview even in complex situations - it's not for nothing that she calls herself the "Master of Disaster" with a wink.
Team member since: I have been involved with the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung since 2011 - initially on a project basis, and since 2014 with full responsibility.
What I did before: Before I joined the foundation, I worked directly for the managing partner of RAPS GmbH & Co. KG. I also worked in the corporate development and M&A department of a medium-sized construction chemicals company and in project management at Procter & Gamble.
That's how I came to the foundation: Moving from corporate strategy at RAPS to the foundation was a logical step for me - away from pure analysis and towards concrete implementation. Instead of key economic figures, my focus today is on social added value and acting for the common good.
My role at the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung: I started out as the only foundation officer - as the team grew, I gradually took over the management and later the operational management. Today, I shape the strategic direction of the foundation, drive the organizational structure forward and continue to develop our working culture. My most important motivation is to have a social impact: Creating structures that enable change and moving issues that make our future worth living.
That's what working at the foundation is all about for me: No two days are the same - and that's exactly what I love. We operate in a dynamic environment that demands openness, agility and real creative ability. I find it particularly fulfilling to be part of processes in which people want to make a difference with passion and attitude.
It is a privilege to accompany this commitment and make tangible, concrete changes possible.
These three words describe me best: strategic, committed, forward-looking
To captivate with: Honest interest, a clear attitude and a good conversation - preferably outside with fresh air and a wide view.
My passions: I am inspired by clever ideas, a genuine attitude and the joint struggle for good solutions - be it in local politics, in education or for a sustainable, fair future. I recharge my batteries by reading, in the garden or on long walks through nature.
