Team member since: July 2023
What I did before: I am a trained foreign language correspondent and have a degree in translation. As writing has always been one of my passions, I attended further training courses in journalism and have also worked for the local press for over ten years. Before becoming self-employed, I gained a lot of experience in foreign trade, sales, international marketing and retail.
That's how I came to the foundation: Via a job advertisement in which I immediately found myself.
My role at Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung: At the foundation, I take care of PR. This means that I am always looking for great stories that we can tell about our funding projects. I also accompany events and support the team in the area of public relations.
That's what makes working at the foundation so special for me: It's a real pleasure to work in this great team! I find it very rewarding to keep coming into contact with new people and exciting projects. The work done by volunteers in Upper Franconia is incredible, and I am delighted to be able to support the foundation in its work.
These three words describe me best: committed, creative, curious
To bribe with: I'm always up for cultural events, be it an art exhibition, theater or a concert. I really appreciate the cabarets in Upper Franconia.
My passions: I like to relax by the stove or work in the garden - even if you often can't tell. I feel like I've always been involved in various voluntary work: I'm currently on the parents' council, involved in extracurricular education for children and run a writing workshop for refugees. I'm a bookworm and enjoy writing myself. And then, of course, there's my beloved family...
What else you should know about me: I am culturally diverse and see myself as a citizen of the world.
