Miriam's heart beats for volunteering and people who are committed to helping the socially disadvantaged. She therefore also finds balance through contact with her favorite people: Family and friends. She acts as the contact person for the social sector, in particular for our foundation's own initiatives, such as Helden der Heimat, and our funding calls.
Team member since: September 2023
What I did before: I studied social work and worked in several social projects and institutions. My professional stations have included extracurricular education for children and young people, project responsibility for social initiatives for young people looking for work and refugees, and adult education.
That's how I came to the foundation: I was already in contact with the foundation through a funding project in 2017. When the foundation was looking for reinforcements, I took the initiative and am now delighted to be part of the team.
My role at Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung: I am primarily responsible for our own initiatives and therefore oversee projects such as Heroes of the Homeland or our funding calls. I also support the processing of funding applications.
That's what makes the work at the foundation special for me: Supporting socially disadvantaged groups of people and the associated promotion of volunteering and social innovation. - Simply a meaningful activity!
These three words describe me best: honest, motivating, ambitious
To bribe with: A large cappuccino and a delicious slice of Bienenstich cake.
My passions: I love spending time with my family and friends. Whether it's hiking, cycling or other excursions. I particularly recharge my batteries by playing with my son.
What else you should know about me: I was born and grew up in Kulmbach. As a "true Kulmbach native", I have always been closely connected to my home town.
