Frank Alexander Kühne

Chairman Foundation Board

Frank is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung. He has known the Foundation since he was a child and since he has been in charge of it, he has developed his own image of how the Foundation can contribute to society. He is helped in this by his desire for strategic foresight, the joy of constructive debate and pitching in when something needs to be done. So he is much more than the person who "only" makes decisions.

Team member since: 2015

What I did before: Managing partner of Raps GmbH & Co. KG

How I came to the foundation: The Foundation is part of our group of companies, and it was with great pleasure that I took on the responsibility.

Role at the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung: As Chairman of the Foundation Board, I am responsible for all of the foundation's activities in the three areas of "Social Affairs", "Food Research and "In honour of the founder".

Here's what working at the foundation is like for me: On the one hand, I am very grateful to be able to give something back to society in a very concrete way through this role. On the other hand, I am thrilled by the multifaceted nature of our three foundation areas (social welfare, research and in honour of the founder) as well as the great creative freedom.

These three words describe me best: optimistic, curious, hands-on

How to bribe me: Nougat chocolate

My passions: Family - I am passionate about being a father (and husband), cooking - preferably for family and friends, sports - crossfit, mountaineering, scuba diving.

What else you should know about me: My biggest weakness: wanting too much too fast.
