Christiane Bamberger

Foundation Officer Social Affairs

Lists, lists, lists: Although Christiane maintains a high degree of structure and order, she's still always up for a good time! It's a balance that the self-proclaimed "Mother of Dragons" also makes use of in her private life.

Team member since: June 2019

What I did before: I started as a counsellor at the Federal Employment Agency and then switched to human resources.

How I came to the foundation: I replaced a dear colleague who temporarily exchanged her desk for a changing table.

Role at the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung: As a substitute covering for my collegaue, I checked, planned and documented in the role of finance and administration manager. In the meantime, I support the "Social Affairs" department in processing applications and am the contact person for the "Miscellaneous" and "Social Media" departments.

Here's what working at the foundation is like for me: Like a family, the team members of the foundation pull together when it comes to making a valuable contribution in the region for equal opportunities through social support. Knowing that the foundation's work has such a positive impact on many people and helps to improve their living conditions leaves me with an incredibly good feeling and inspires hope.

These three words describe me best: Mother of Dragons

How to bribe me: Flattery of my competence always works! And Bumix and Rocher are my weaknesses. Despite the stomachache afterwards.

My passions: In my spare time I have a green thumb, and am a forest-bathing devotee with my family as well as a passionate test eater for a very experimental chef. An epic book in the evening is as important as a delicious tea in the morning.

What else people should know about me: I'm honest and direct and sometimes speak my mind even when no one wants to hear it. Anyone who has drawn me into their sphere of influence once can rely on me forever.
