"Social Bet 2.0" successfully completed!
38 out of 40 betting partners win the "Social Bet 2.0"! The Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung thus grants a total of over 36,000 euros to the winners.

As of today, it is clear that almost all forty betting partners were able to win the "social bet 2.0"! At the end of October, Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung called on social and non-profit organisations in Upper Franconia to participate in the "social bet 2.0". Forty organisations from all Upper Franconian districts responded to the call to bet that your organisation would not manage to collect at least 300 euros in donations within five weeks. Almost all participating betting partners succeeded in reaching the betting target and collecting at least 300 euros in donations during the betting period from 8 November to 10 December 2021. As usual in a bet, the stakes were of course attractive! Thus, all organisations that reached the betting target can look forward to doubling the amount raised up to an amount of 1,000 euros each. With 5,458.16 euros, the Rote Katze e.V. from Bayreuth was able to generate the highest income and is thus considered this year's competition king. The Elisabeth-Verein Pottenstein e.V. also has two reasons to be happy: With its idea, which was rated as the most innovative fundraising campaign by Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung , it wins the innovation prize of 1,000 euros in addition to the actual bet. In total, Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung released 36,102.83 euros in donations as part of the "social bet 2.0".

Great commitment pays off
Shortly after the call for bets by Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung for the "social bet 2.0" at the end of October 2021, which challenged social and non-profit organisations to collect donations of at least 300 euros within a period of five weeks, it was clear: the fundraising approach, which was the basis of this year's betting round, was well received! Due to the high number of expressions of interest in participating in the "social bet 2.0", the foundation even decided to double the original twenty bet partnerships to be awarded. Accordingly, a total of forty organisations from all Upper Franconian districts showed full commitment in the betting period from 8 November to 10 December 2021 in order to achieve the betting goal. A commitment that pays off! 38 of the forty organisations succeeded in collecting donations of at least 300 euros. These organisations can now not only be happy about the pure donation proceeds, but will also be rewarded by Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung with an attractive bet! The foundation doubles the donations collected up to an amount of 1,000 euros.
Organisations convince with innovative fundraising approaches
67,432.08 euros! This is the total amount of donations that the participating organisations were able to generate in the five-week betting period. The
fundraising approaches were as diverse as the organisations themselves: In addition to selling homemade jams, biscuits or decorative items, there were also unusual ideas such as raffling off sightseeing flights among the supporters, donating tattoos or placing their own bets that helped the betting partners raise funds. The Rote Katze e.V. launched the campaign "Mice against Mice" in line with the fundraising project. The mice were handmade by the studio members and were made of various materials, such as wood or stone, and were also sold as crocheted mice or in the form of sultana buns. The association thus managed to achieve the highest proceeds of 5,458.16 euros, making it this year's competition king. However, the Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung rated the idea of the Elisabeth-Verein Pottenstein e.V. as the most innovative fundraising approach. The jury assessed the innovation in the idea/methodology, the implementation, the access to the target group and the external impact of the fundraising activities. "The approach of the Elisabeth-Verein Pottenstein e.V. convinced us in many respects!", says Foundation Officer Tina Beeg. "In addition to selling homemade sweets, the association took a completely new approach by directly approaching organisations and individuals. They asked local retailers to support the fundraising campaign by setting up piggy banks and even managed to convince a tattoo artist to donate two tattoos. Through the personal approach and open communication, the Elisabeth-Verein Pottenstein e.V. was not only able to raise funds, but also to win over further supporters. It was the first fundraising campaign in the association's history and, in the process, a really special commitment with an imaginative approach." In addition to fundraising proceeds of 2,649.77 euros and its doubling in terms of the wager, the Elisabeth-Verein Pottenstein e.V. will receive an additional 1,000 euros with the Innovation Award. In total, the Foundation thus releases donations in the sense of the wager in the amount of 36,102.83 euros to support civic engagement in Upper Franconia.
