‍Preserving and promoting democracy

In view of current social and political developments, Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung considers it necessary to set an example for the preservation of democracy

For each other and with each other: on this basis, Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung has been promoting the commitment of individuals, associations and institutions that support people in social need for decades. Whether children and young people, adults or senior citizens - people with the most diverse needs, starting situations, problems, dreams and wishes receive support. Keeping diversity in mind is just as important to the foundation as strengthening the foundation on which our society is built: democracy.

In view of current social and political developments, Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung considers it necessary to set an example for the preservation of democracy. This is not only done verbally, but also actively through the financial support of social and scientific projects. In addition, the foundation is also driven by the desire to provide support in terms of content and the desire to create stronger networks between those involved.

The foundation officers are currently working on a corresponding call for proposals on the topic of "Promoting democracy". With this, Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung wants to position itself politically independent and yet very clearly: for togetherness, for co-determination, for human rights, for social responsibility. Regardless of the planned call for funding, committed individuals are therefore encouraged to apply for funding now with their projects on the topics of "democratic education", "inclusion", "co-determination" and "integration". Because we want an Upper Franconia that is socially strengthened for the future, does not close its eyes and works hand in hand.
