New reading tutors wanted!
MENTOR - Die Leselernhelfer": Project of the district of Kulmbach/KoBE to promote reading among children is to be further expanded.

The Corona crisis has further increased the need for support for children with reading difficulties. With the expansion of the project "MENTOR - Die Leselernhelfer", the district of Kulmbach/KoBE wants to counteract this development and is looking for new reading mentors who enjoy reading, storytelling, playing and interacting with young people.
Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung Supports reading promotion project with "MENTOREN suitcases
In the coming school year, the volunteer project "MENTOR - Die Leselernhelfer" (MENTOR - The Reading Helpers) is to be further expanded in order to provide even more children with individual reading support. The initiative of the district of Kulmbach/KoBE currently receives generous funding from Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung, which makes it possible to equip all participating schools with bright red "MENTOREN-Koffern". They are filled to the brim with educationally valuable games and books and enrich the reading hours on site. At today's press event at the Friedrich Baur Primary and Secondary School in Stadtsteinach with District Administrator Klaus Peter Söllner, Florian Schneider, the Foundation's Director of Social Affairs, handed over one of a total of ten sponsored "MENTOREN-Koffer", filled to the brim with educationally valuable games and books.
All information about the project "MENTOR - Die Leselernhelfer" and how you can get involved as a reading mentor can be found in the detailed press release.
