The Hero Teams 2022 started the programme with the first workshop.

For the first workshop of the Heroes of Upper Franconia programme, everything revolved around the topic of "team".

07/2022

On 25 June, the programme "Heroes of Upper Franconia" officially kicked off with the first of three workshops on the topic of "Team". The ten hero teams that qualified for participation in the application phase focused on the question of a common vision, the topic of team cohesion and the individual roles in the team. In order to understand how a strong team can succeed in advancing a project in the best possible way, the aspect of effective project management was also examined. After one or two aha-moments and emerging as a strengthened unit, the hero teams can already look forward to further input. Because after the workshop is before the workshop! Workshop II will continue on Friday, 8 July 2022.

The project team as the key to successful project implementation

A functioning team in which the roles are clearly distributed, in which the individual team members can rely on each other and which follows a common vision is the basis for the implementation of a successful project. For this reason, the roles in the team, its visions and team cohesion were already examined in theory and practice at the kick-off workshop.

In a varied workshop programme organised by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Bayreuth, the participating teams were able to focus entirely on themselves, the team, in various tasks. This is often neglected in day-to-day business, but it supports the teams in the long term in successfully implementing projects. The insight of the day: "We are already a team, we are not lone fighters. Everyone puts their heart and mind into it," says Dr Barbara Biella (Deputy Chair of the Initiative Liebenswertes Kulmbach e.V.).

Just a short breather: On 08 July, the teams will meet for the second workshop "Business Models and Stakeholder Management in Social Projects".

The topic of the second workshop "Product, Business Models and Stakeholder Management" sounds very economic at first, but it is also becoming increasingly important for social projects. Only those who deal with essential points such as the value of the product, the financing of their own project and the customers and users at an early stage can survive in the long term. In this way, social projects also benefit from entrepreneurial thinking. In addition to developing an understanding of the functioning and thus the business model of the project, the hero teams will also deal with their stakeholders in the second workshop. This refers to people and organisations that have a direct or indirect interest in a project and can thus contribute decisively to its success or failure. The teams learn about the interests of their stakeholders, why they should take them into account in the implementation of the project and what opportunities arise from this for the project.
