Heroes of Home Upper Franconia strengthens the social ecosystem in the Upper Franconia region

In April 2022, Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung and the team led by Prof. Dr. Eva Jakob, Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Bayreuth, launched the "Helden der HeimatOberfranken" program with a mission: Together with social actors, solutions for the social challenges of the Upper Franconia region were to be developed and expanded and social commitment effectively (further) developed. The nine heroine teams presented themselves to a jury and the audience in an innovative pitch format at the end of the heroine program. The Held*innen-Festival offered the heroine teams a stage to present their social commitment and to inspire and motivate other socially committed people to expand their social commitment in and for the region of Upper Franconia. The focus was and is on the networking of socially committed people and the dissemination and consolidation of good ideas and relevant structures. This is the only way to create an ecosystem that brings committed people in the region together and increases the impact of social projects.

Inspiration and motivation: All pitches from the participating teams to watch

In the spirit of sustainability and in line with the goal of making good ideas accessible to those involved in the social sector, Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung is publishing all nine pitches from the hero teams on its YouTube channel. Social actors who were not able to attend the evening or who would like to watch the performance of their favorite team again will find a new pitch video on the YouTube channel of Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung every Monday and Friday until the end of December.

Have fun watching and sharing with other social actors!
