Adalbert Raps scholarships: Foundation expands spice expertise

In the spirit of the Kulmbach entrepreneur and founder Adalbert Raps, who devoted himself passionately to the subject of spices in his time, the central concern of Adalbert-Raps-Stiftung today is to preserve knowledge about spices, support its further development and make it available to people. For this reason, the foundation is once again awarding two participation scholarships of 3,500 euros each for the Spice Sommelier/ière® qualification this year.

Whether you are a chef, restaurant specialist, butcher, baker, food or spice retailer, direct marketer or specialist from the food industry: the training to become a spice sommelier at the Genussakademie Bayern is aimed at all interested parties who have completed training in the food trade, commerce and industry as well as the catering trade. In short, it is aimed at all those who deal with spices in their everyday work. Those interested in the scholarship are asked to send their application documents, consisting of a current CV and a short letter of motivation, by email to info@raps-stiftung.de, contact Sebastian Sommerer, by March 3, 2024.
